Because I am so pregnant for the holidays this year I am keeping it simple. I would love to get all dressed up in a pretty dress or sequins (I love sequins for Christmas) but nothing fits and I was not about to buy something new with a week left. But I love this bright red sweater with my new FAVORITE bow pumps. I am really obsessed with these shoes! So at least I still feel festive. And I actually bought the wildfox sweater I linked below to wear on Christmas day!

A little baby update. We had a ultra sound yesterday and they are estimating the baby to be 8 pounds. I know that is not always accurate and it could be a pound or a half a pound off. But still I never thought that I would have a baby measuring 8 pounds. Then we went and met with the doctor. Of course my doctor is out of town for the holidays so we had to see a new doctor we had never met before. Thank god he was great and we loved him. He seems to think I will be going into labor like any minute. I am having pretty strong contractions there is just no real pattern to them. But he thinks its going to happen like tomorrow.

So we are just waiting! I know she is happy in there and I am so happy that she is so healthy. But I am not going to lie, I want her out! Carrying around a 8 pound baby is exhausting I am starting to swell and my hands are now getting numb. So if she decides to stay in until Tuesday we are going to schedule something ASAP because my doctor is a little worried that I will not be able to handle giving birth to a 9 pound baby, which she could be by next week.

Like I said I am so happy she is healthy and I have really enjoyed being pregnant. But I feel so ready. I know it will happen in God's timing I just hope it is before next week!

Merry Christmas Eve! Thanks for stopping by!

  11. You look beautiful in that red! I remember that feeling of being so big and uncomfortable and yes you do still feel so blessed but cannot wait for the baby to come! My husband and I would talk for hours about what we thought it would be like once the baby comes. I remember telling my doctor I needed to have the baby now.....LOl I could barely walk with my legs together. You have the most AH MAZING experience ahead of you, you could not even imagine. Make sure that put that baby right on your chest and let me tell you that warm baby on your body is a feeling you will NEVER FORGET. Try to really soak that in. Also, don't be surprised if after she comes you feel a little sad about not having her in your belly anymore...its all normal! God Bless your family and I so look forward to following you and your family!!!!!
