I am having a hard time getting things done this week for the blog. Lincoln has not been sleeping so great the past few nights and I have been so exhausted! He still sleeps in our room in his bassinet. It is probably time to move him into his bedroom but I just don't feel ready yet. Andi was in her room at two months old but because Lincoln was so premature I just am so attached to him and I am so much more nervous about him being in his room by himself. I am hoping to get the courage to move him in there soon. I don;t know if that will make him sleep better but I hear every little noise he makes so I am so quick to wake up and feed him when he might put himself back to sleep if I gave him the chance.

The ShopBop Event of the season sale starts today. You can get up to  30% off by using code MAINEVENT16 at checkout. It is such a great sale to get some great Fall staples.

Happy hump day... Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Beautiful post as always! Hang in there, mama! You will know what's best for your baby. Sometimes a little tough love helps our babies grow but ultimately do what feels right for you and your family. :)

  3. Transitioning them into their own room is so emotionally hard on us! I definitely pushed out that step a few months longer when I had my 2nd. To help I would keep my 1st kiddos baby monitor near my head, on the side table, and the white noise helped wash out my 2nd son's constant movements in our room but I'd still hear him when it was time to nurse. Whatever you chose to do I'm sure will be right for you and your family. Sending lots of positive thoughts and strength your way!

BTW ordering that sweater, it's super cute!
